Summer Review Part 2

In July was our big family vacation back east. We went to Boston, Palmyra, Niagara Falls, Kirtland, and Washington DC. It was a lot of driving but it was fun and a great experience for the family. Here is a quick summary and a few of the many pictures that were taken.
While in Boston we spent time with my brother and his wife. They took us around to some great places in Boston. We wish we would have had more time to spend time with them and to see more sights.


In Palmyra we were able to see the Hill Cumorah Pageant, Sacred Grove, and other church historical sights. We actually saw the pageant 1 3/4 time because the first night we were there it poured rain with lightning & thunder so they called it. There was only 20 mins to go. We were able to work it in our schedule to come back another night and see the whole pageant. Wow, what an awesome production. If you ever get a chance go see it.


Niagara Falls we took a ride on Maid of the Mists boat and saw the falls up close.


In Washington DC we took a bus tour around to see the sights and went to some of the Smithsonian Museums.



It would have been nice to have a month to see everything but we were glad for the time we had and the opportunity to see what we did. What great memories we will have as a family.
