New Year's Festivities

G's brother Will and his family came down from Utah. They spent a few days with us. It was a lot of fun having the families together.
For New Year's Eve we went over to Tye & Tami's house. They traditionally do crepes with a variety of toppings. So we all made whatever we wanted. It was delicious We played a lot of different games and had a great time.
New Year's Day everyone came over to our house. While football was being watched "Settlers of Catan" was being played.

We also went down to our community park and played sand volleyball (I know most of you are jealous you can't do that this time of year).

Friday night we got together to watch the Utah game. There are very few times these Cougar fans root for Utah.
Saturday we went to a town park to feed the ducks, ride the train, and do batting cages.

Tami decided that we needed to have a Polar Bear Swim. So those who wanted to do that joined in. We know it is not the same when the weather earlier in the day is around 70 and we don't have to move snow out of the way. It was still cold water.

There was also a ping pong tournament and a game of risk.

What a great time we had. It was great to spend the beginning of the year with family. We love spending time with family.

O.K. I want to come to your New Year's parties--swimming outside and playing sand VB. Oh yeah, that sounds like lots of fun!!
